Myrtle Thrive is a local site for Myrtle Beach, built by Mike. This page explains what we collect when you sign up and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The poll idea you picked, if you picked one.
- When you signed up, and the internet address (IP address) you signed up from. We use it to stop people from flooding the form.
What we use it for
- To email you about Myrtle Thrive, starting with a welcome email and a note when voting opens.
- To count which poll ideas people want most.
We never sell or rent your information.
Who else handles it
- Postmark sends our emails.
- Our web host stores the site and the database your sign-up is saved in.
- Replies to our emails go to our Google Workspace inbox.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies that keep the sign-up form secure. We count visits to the page, but the count doesn't record who you are. We don't use advertising trackers, so your browser's Do Not Track setting doesn't change anything here.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- If you unsubscribe, we keep your address marked as unsubscribed, so we never email you again by mistake.
- To see, correct, or delete what we have about you, email hey@myrtlethrive.com.
Children
Myrtle Thrive is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
